A course on financial literacy

To allow our users the highest level of flexibility throughout the course, we made the homepages completely customizable. Assignments become grayed out once completed, and due dates can be adjusted based on what works best with the students schedule. The same is true for the syllabus; in fact, for the first assignment the students are required to edit the syllabus and rank the course objects from most to least important.
User experience was the number one focus when creating this app. We held focus groups to learn more about our target audience, conducted research based on their responses, and created surveys to follow up with our users on what they would find most helpful in a financial literacy course. We also interviewed several instructional design specialists to determine what was crucial to include on the homepage and syllabus.
